St Patrick’s Day is finally here so there’s only one thing to do… make cocktails!

Irish Mint Mojito
An Irish twist on a classic favourite.
Ingredients:
- 60ml Irish Whisky
- 2tbp of sugar
- 2tbp mint leaves
- 4 lime wedges
- Handful of crushed ice
- Splash of tonic water
- Extra lime to garnish
Put an Irish spin on a classic cocktail and start with the syrup for this sweet mojito. Combine the sugar and water over a medium heat in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer until it thickens, before removing and cooling completely. Meanwhile, prep your mint leaves, lime wedges and muddle this with your cold mixture using a spoon. Add the whisky and ice and shake for 30 seconds. Finally pour, add a splash of tonic water and garnish with lime, and there you have it, a delicious Irish Mint Mojito!
Bailey’s Shamrock Shake
The ultimate sweet treat for your Paddy’s Day celebrations.
Ingredients:
- 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 100ml Guinness beer
- 200ml Baileys Irish cream
- 50ml chocolate syrup
- Handful of ice
Simple but sweet. This Baileys Shamrock Shake is sure to cure any sweet tooth this St Patrick’s Day. Scoop the ice cream into a tall glass, pour in the Guinness and Baileys over each serving. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and voila! The perfect sweet Irish treat.
Green Bloody Mary

Ingredients:
- 4 slices of green pepper
- 4 yellow tomatoes, chopped
- 2 slices of cucumber, peeled and chopped
- Half a green apple, peeled and chopped
- 100ml of vodka
- 30ml lemon juice
- 3-4 dashes of tabasco
- 1 teaspoon celery seeds
- Pinch of black pepper
- Large handful of ice
If you’re starting your celebrations early this year, then this might be the perfect St Patrick’s Day cocktail for you. First, blend the peppers, tomatoes, cucumber and apple to make a smooth puree. Combine this with the rest of the ingredients and the ice. Shake well and strain into a tall glass. Top off with salt or pepper, use any remaining lime to garnish and save yourself a hangover this St Patrick’s Day!
Shamrock Sour
Turn your traditional whisky sour green for Paddy’s Day.
Ingredients:
- 35ml lime juice
- 35ml lemon juice
- 12ml syrup
- 50ml Jameson Irish whisky
- 1 drop of green food colouring
- Lime wedge to garnish
Sour but sweet, this cocktail will have you dancing all night long this St Patrick’s Day. Simply combine all of the ingredients and shake well. Next, strain over ice, garnish with lime and you’re set for some sweet St Paddy’s Day celebrations.
The Irish Mule
A refreshing, Irish spin on the classic Moscow Mule.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Jameson Irish whisky
- 200ml ginger beer
- Dash of lime juice
- Lime slice (garnish)
- Mint spring (garnish)
- Handful of crushed ice
